Jesus once said, “If I have told earthly things and you do not believe, how will you believe if I tell you heavenly things.” Paul Taylor very deftly shows the relevance of this quotable reality by demonstrating to the reader how each and every traditional and foundational biblical principle can find there origin in the first book of the Bible: Genesis. In fact, for Taylor, if you do not choose to believe that Genesis is historical narrative and you instead begin to embrace any of the various “alternative” explanations for the text in Genesis, particularly the first twelve chapters, then it is just possible that the rest of the Bible might be misunderstood. From Adam and Eve to Abraham, the biblical doctrines held by Christians down through the years can be seen in their original and pristine beginnings, in this rather unique gospel presentation.
